On Friday, July 31 at 10am, a Drive-Through Ribbon Cutting will take place at the Enfield Public Library, to celebrate the launch of Wave 7 Communications, a new local internet provider bringing access to faster broadband internet to the Enfield community.

Across North Carolina, our neighbors have found themselves with little to no income and no health insurance. They are struggling to purchase their medication and many of them are suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes or hypertension. The inability to purchase medications leads to risky behaviors such as taking less medication or sometimes going without it at all. Now more than ever, the choice between purchasing food or medicine is being felt by our neighbors and NC MedAssist is here to help. Join us to learn about the Free Pharmacy program and how uninsured individuals can receive FREE prescription medications through our nonprofit pharmacy.
